Momma Mia - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Meet Momma Mia-Retired Supermom, Ready For Her Own Happy Ending!

The adoption application can be found here:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat

Momma Mia is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. We cannot transport to Massachusetts, Maine, Virginia or New Hampshire.

Momma Mia has already done the hard work. She started life on the streets, raised her babies with fierce devotion, and saw every one of them off to a bright future. Now it’s finally her turn. As an ex-feral, she’s a little cautious with new people and needs someone patient who will let her set the pace. But earn her trust, and you’ll find a playful, loving girl with a heart full of affection she’s been saving for the right person. She’s given so much to others. Will you be the one who gives back to her?

Momma Mia is 1 year old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home! Momma Mia does well with other cats and with a slow introduction with a cat-savvy dog, she would do great!

Momma Mia's remaining baby is Sage II (F) who is still looking for her forever home.

Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens, siblings, or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here:

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:
Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
