Cleopatra may have a royal name, but there's nothing snooty about this queen. Just say hello and the purring starts. Sit down and she's already climbing into your lap. She has never met a chin scratch she didn't adore, and her favorite throne is right next to the people she loves.
Cleopatra is FIV positive, which sounds scarier than it is. FIV cats can live long, happy, healthy lives with regular vet care and an indoor home. FIV can't spread to people or dogs, and it's passed between cats mainly through deep bite wounds, so it isn't caught from sharing a home.
Too often, cats like Cleopatra get passed over because of three little letters. But this queen has so much love to give, and she's just waiting for someone to give it to. Could you be Cleopatra's happily ever after?
Cleopatra (FIV+) is 2 years old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home! Cleopatra does great with other cats
Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens, siblings, or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here:

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:
Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
