Smokey is a gentle, loving girl with a story as warm as her cuddles. After being lovingly cared for by a local fire station for over six months, she became the firehouse favorite — their little mascot and companion through long shifts and busy days. The firefighters adored her, but ultimately decided she deserved a forever home where her sweet personality could truly shine.

This easygoing girl can settle comfortably into just about any environment. Smokey loves attention, cozy naps, and being close to her people. She’s the kind of cat who will happily curl up on your lap during movie night and supervise dinner preparations from the kitchen like the perfect little helper.

Smokey is wonderful with other cats and has experience around dogs of all sizes, ferrets, and children. Her calm, affectionate nature makes her an amazing companion for almost any family.

After spending months as a beloved firehouse mascot, Smokey is ready to see where she’ll be “stationed” next — hopefully in a loving forever home.
