Jade is one confident little lady with just the right amount of diva.

Like many Thistle Cats, Jade was rescued from animal control on the very day she was scheduled to be euthanized due to overcrowding.

Jade does well with other cats, but she definitely appreciates having her own space and can get a little overwhelmed by the number of resident cats at Thistle Cat. She is independent, confident, and very good at claiming the best seats in the house, especially the top of the bathroom cabinet, the refrigerator, or her favorite hammock basket by the window.

She also loves catnip toys, couch movie time, and as many pets on her soft velvety fur as you're willing to give.

And yes, the diva side does make an appearance. At wet food dinner, Jade prefers her own plate, thank you very much, though she is perfectly happy eating beside other cats.
