Tracker & Matriarch — From Backyard Brush to Bright Indoor Futures
Born this summer to a community cat in New Hope, MS, Tracker and Matriarch have already made an incredible journey. What started as life under porches and in tall grass has turned into cozy beds, full bellies, and the kind of human affection they never knew existed. They're the perfect example of how far a pair of outdoor kittens can come with a little love and a safe place to grow.
Matriarch The social butterfly of the duo, Matriarch is the first to trot over when her humans enter the room. She's all about playtime, affection, and exploring every corner of her world. Whether she's chasing a rogue leaf that blew in from the porch or launching herself after laser lights like she's training for the Kitten Olympics, she brings nonstop joy and energy. She's confident, curious, and ready to be someone's lively little shadow.
Tracker Tracker is the quieter sibling — thoughtful, observant, and happiest in a calm home where older kids understand cat boundaries. He's playful too, just in a gentler, more deliberate way. He adores his sister but would also thrive with a friendly resident cat who can show him the ropes. Dogs are an unknown, but his sweet nature suggests he'd adjust with patience and proper introductions.
Together, they're a testament to resilience: once tiny outdoor wanderers, now affectionate, thriving kittens who are ready for their next chapter. Whether adopted as a pair or individually, Tracker and Matriarch are prepared to bring warmth, charm, and a touch of their brave outdoor spirit into a loving home.
Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.
All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
