Meet Flora!

Flora is a little country girl with a BIG personality — cheerful, outgoing, affectionate, and always ready for a conversation.

This adorable tabby doesn't seem to have a shy bone in her body. She loves people, happily joins whatever is going on, and has plenty to say about it. Flora is quite the conversationalist, chirruping and chatting away as though she's filling you in on everything you missed while you were gone.

And her purr? Instant and enthusiastic. The moment her people appear, Flora is ready to let them know just how happy she is to see them.

Flora loves to play and explore, but once she's gotten her kitten energy out, she's equally enthusiastic about cuddle time. She'll happily curl up close and settle in for some serious affection.

Her story began when this brave little girl simply wandered out of a field and up to a country home, apparently having decided it was time to find herself some humans. The kind family gave her food and water but knew they couldn't provide the indoor life she deserved, so they reached out for help.

Flora is great with other friendly cats, but she's also confident and people-oriented enough that she could be perfectly happy as your one-and-only kitty. She hasn't yet lived with dogs or children, but with her outgoing, easygoing nature, we think she has plenty of potential to adjust well with appropriate introductions.

From wandering out of a field to searching for a forever family, Flora clearly knows what she wants.

Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.

All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
