Meet the Classics: Elsie, Agnes, Cora & Felix

Some names never go out of style—and neither do these four absolutely adorable kittens.

Meet Elsie, Agnes, Cora, and Felix, four little treasures who came to us in July alongside their mama, Clara, and their grandmother, Sybil. Clara and Sybil have since headed off to begin their next chapter with their new family, and now it's time for these four youngsters to write stories of their own.

When this little family arrived, Clara was fragile and unwell. Her babies were too young to manage on their own, so Elsie, Agnes, Cora, and Felix became bottle babies for several weeks. With plenty of care, patience, and a whole lot of love, they learned to eat independently—and they have blossomed into some of the most social, affectionate kittens you could hope to meet.

These four absolutely LOVE people. They love being around other kittens, too, and their friendly, outgoing personalities make them wonderful candidates for homes with children of any age. They are the kind of kittens who want to be part of the action, whether that means playing, snuggling, following their people around, or simply finding a warm lap to settle into.

And perhaps their old-fashioned names are fitting, because there is something wonderfully timeless about this bunch. Elsie, Agnes, Cora, and Felix sound like they could have stepped straight out of an old-fashioned storybook—and their personalities are just as charming. They have the sweetness of a bygone era, the manners of little gentlemen and ladies, and enough kitten mischief to keep things interesting!

They are endearing, affectionate, wonderfully social, and absolutely perfect.

Their mama gave them a strong start, their bottle-baby days helped them learn just how wonderful humans can be, and now these four are ready for the next chapter of their lives.

Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.

All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
