Dot began her life as little more than a speck on the highway — a tiny kitten weighing under a pound, barely visible to anyone passing by. It took a driver going 70 miles an hour making an emergency stop to save her, and that splitsecond act of kindness changed everything. She had fallen out of an engine, terrified and trembling, but determined to survive.
That scared little “dot” on the road has transformed into a confident, joyful kitten with a huge personality. Dot is now the first one to race to the door every day to greet her foster mom, tail up and ready for affection. She's spunky, social, and full of life — the kind of kitten who makes every room brighter just by being in it.
Dot would thrive in a home with children, other cats, and likely even a friendly dog with a proper introduction. She's adaptable, peopleoriented, and eager to be part of a family who will cherish her.
Don't let this little “Dot” slip away. She's tiny, but her heart — and her story — are unforgettable.
Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.
All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
