Penelope, born approximately 6/11/2026. Do not let her pint sized frame fool you. Penelope may be small enough to fit in one hand, but her personality is absolutely larger than life. This little gray blue superstar has never met a stage she did not want to steal or a person she did not want to charm.
Penelope was rescued from a large colony where starvation had stacked the odds against her from the very beginning. But this remarkable little girl had enough resilience packed into her itty bitty body to prove everyone wrong. She fought her way back with unstoppable determination, and before long she was winning hearts just as effortlessly as she wins the spotlight.
Confident, vocal, and bursting with playful energy, Penelope always has something to say and makes sure her opinions are heard. She is endlessly curious, wildly entertaining, and turns every toy, every room, and every ordinary day into an adventure. Life with Penelope is never boring because she is convinced she is the star of the show and somehow she is absolutely right.
When the zoomies are over, this tiny queen transforms into the sweetest little love bug. She lives for snuggles and believes your face exists for one very important purpose, to be covered in her adorable sandpaper kisses. She craves attention, adores affection, and wants nothing more than to be the center of someones world. She will happily curl into your lap, melt into your arms, and remind you every single day that love comes in the tiniest packages.
Penelope is living proof that the smallest packages often contain the biggest miracles. She survived against the odds, blossomed into a fearless little firecracker, and is now ready to fill a forever home with laughter, love, endless cuddles, and plenty of sweet kitten kisses.

Adopting from Sheets Pet Adoption is simple! Request an application, answer a few follow-up questions, then when your application is approved, we set up a meet-greet. The application helps us guide you to your best match. If we do not have your best match, we can refer you to other great rescue groups.

Our adoption fee is $100 for each cat 6 months and older, $150 if you adopt two 6+ month-old cats at the same time. $125 for each kitten, $200 for two kittens adopted at the same time. That fee includes spay or neuter, microchipping (we register the chip for you), testing for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and/or FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), current, age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment and deworming. All adoptees receive an exit exam from one of our veterinarians before going home.

NO RISK! Adoption fee is refundable for two weeks to make sure you've found a match for your household. Even after two-week period, we'll take the adopted cat back for any reason.
Come to our adoption fairs, held every second and fourth Saturday at Sheets Pet Clinic (809 Chimney Rock Court, Greensboro, NC, 27409) from 1-3pm, unless the Saturday falls on an observed holiday. At the clinic on those days, you can visit sometimes 40 kittens/cats at one time, interact with them in a quiet environment, spend as much time as you like with them in exam rooms.
