Dude, born approximately 7/29/2024. Once you meet Dude, you are going to wonder how this enormous brown tabby heartthrob ever ended up without his forever family.
Dude is a gentle giant who looks like he was built to be the intimidating tank of the cat world, but inside that big sturdy body is nothing but pure sugar, marshmallows and unconditional love. He is an absolute ham who lives for human attention and will have you completely swooning in about 30 seconds flat.
Just look at this handsome hunk. Dude has a wonderfully substantial build, gorgeous warm brown tabby markings, a broad adorable face, expressive golden eyes and the sweetest little pink nose. His big paws and sturdy physique give him serious tough guy credentials, but his personality completely betrays the act.
This boy is a professional biscuit maker, a certified belly rub enthusiast and an all around affectionate lovebug. Give him attention and he will happily melt into it. He loves showing off that soft belly, making biscuits and soaking up every bit of affection his humans are willing to give.
And if you ever find yourself asking Dude where is my cat, the answer is probably wherever you are, because this boy wants to be right there with his people.
Dude is the kind of cat who makes you feel like you have known him forever. He is sweet, loving, affectionate and wonderfully easy to adore. He may look like a big tough guy on the outside, but spend five minutes with him and you will discover that he is really just a giant marshmallow with paws.

Adopting from Sheets Pet Adoption is simple! Request an application, answer a few follow-up questions, then when your application is approved, we set up a meet-greet. The application helps us guide you to your best match. If we do not have your best match, we can refer you to other great rescue groups.

Our adoption fee is $100 for each cat 6 months and older, $150 if you adopt two 6+ month-old cats at the same time. $125 for each kitten, $200 for two kittens adopted at the same time. That fee includes spay or neuter, microchipping (we register the chip for you), testing for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and/or FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), current, age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment and deworming. All adoptees receive an exit exam from one of our veterinarians before going home.

NO RISK! Adoption fee is refundable for two weeks to make sure you've found a match for your household. Even after two-week period, we'll take the adopted cat back for any reason.

Come to our adoption fairs, held every second and fourth Saturday at Sheets Pet Clinic (809 Chimney Rock Court, Greensboro, NC, 27409) from 1-3pm, unless the Saturday falls on an observed holiday. At the clinic on those days, you can visit sometimes 40 kittens/cats at one time, interact with them in a quiet environment, spend as much time as you like with them in exam rooms.
