Meet Mookie, a beautiful, polydactyl tuxedo kitty who almost had a tragic ending. Left in a closed plastic storage crate with her kittens in the hot sun, with no food, water, or way to escape, only holes to allow oxygen they were left at a random person's home with a note. The note asked the cats be brought to an animal rescue. Thankfully, the person who found them and the rescue who agreed to take them in, did so in time as the cats were panting and dripping sweat from the heat. Mookie's kittens have now been adopted and it is her turn to be treated with love and care.
Mookie isn't holding a grudge against humans. Her owner was misguided and put Mookie and her kittens in harms way. They almost died. With food, water and veterinary care, Mookie survived.
Mookie is loving and patient and still craves the company of humans. Mookie is playful, gentle, and affectionate. She would be great for any type of adopter; single, couple, or a family. She does great with kids. Mookie also does well with other cats so could live in a friendly multi-cat home.
Mookie has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Mookie has an approximate birthdate of 04-26-2025. Her adoption fee is $95.
