Cheeto - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Franklin, Massachusetts

Cheeto grew up with his cat family on the grounds of a chemical plant in Puerto Rico. They were at risk from "removal" and an employee wanted to rescue this cat now 8 months, that he saw since the kitten was born. Cheeto survived by hiding from others only trusted this human who gave them food and a hiding spot in the premises. He was his caretaker.

Cheeto went in foster but he is shy and quiet. He has been slow to trust other humans but craves attention and love. Now Cheeto is about 1.5 years old or 2 and been in foster care for a long time.

The ideal home for him is one where his human has patience and gain his trust by providing a safe environment where Cheeto can blossom. Cheeto goes into his shell when he seens new people but turns into a loving sweet cat once he knows you.
