Poppy, a Tiny Heroine with the Biggest Heart

Poppy may have been the runt of the litter, but what she lacks in size she makes up for with an extraordinary amount of love. This beautiful little calico girl is only five months old, yet she already knows exactly how to make people feel cherished. Of all her sisters, Poppy was the first to trust her foster mom completely. While the others took their time learning the world was safe, Poppy walked right up with affection in her eyes and love to give.

She is deeply attached to her people and absolutely obsessed with pets and attention. One of her favorite things in the world is gently rubbing against her foster mom’s hands and covering them with tiny kisses as if she is constantly saying, “thank you for loving me.” She also enjoys being picked up and held close, happily soaking in every moment of affection.

Poppy is an incredibly intelligent and emotionally aware kitten. She pays attention to everything around her and communicates beautifully through body language rather than meows. A glance, a soft nudge, or a tiny cuddle drive-by says more than words ever could. There is something very special about the way she connects with people. She does not simply want attention; she wants closeness, companionship, and mutual love.

Like her sisters, Poppy came from a difficult beginning. Despite her rough start, she has always chosen gentleness and trust. Her foster’s greatest wish is for her to continue living the soft, safe life she deserves, because Poppy has spent every day giving her very best heart to the world.

Poppy would thrive in a loving home where she can continue to grow into the confident little heroine she already is inside. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, tested negative twice, dewormed, and current on preventatives. All she needs now is a forever family that will adore her as much as she adores them.

Like her sisters, Poppy's story began in a small colony cared for by a brave young mother cat named Summer (now, Khalessi). After suffering unimaginable losses caused by humans, Khalessi still found the courage to trust again and brought her kittens directly to safety. These kittens come from generations of gentle and shy cats who only ever wanted love and kindness.
