The Scoop is proof that not every kitten is a tiny chaos goblin looking for constant cuddles. This handsome boy knows exactly who he is, and he's perfectly happy being himself.

While many kittens want to be in your lap every waking moment, The Scoop prefers to be your friendly roommate. He's happy to hang out nearby, keep you company, and check in throughout the day, but he also enjoys having the freedom to do his own thing.

One of my favorite things about him is how chatty he can be. The Scoop always seems to have something to say and isn't shy about sharing his opinions. Whether he's commenting on your day or announcing his latest discovery, he keeps life interesting.

Although he's independent, he's definitely not boring. The Scoop loves to play and has plenty of kitten energy when it's time for toys and adventures. He enjoys interaction and companionship, just on his own terms.

The Scoop was one of six kittens born to Star, a devoted mama cat who was found with her litter at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Since then, he's grown into a confident young cat with a personality all his own.

He gets along well with other cats and has done well with children. Because he's naturally independent, I think he'd be a wonderful fit for someone who appreciates a cat with a little self-confidence and doesn't expect a constant shadow.

The Scoop is the perfect companion for someone who wants all the fun, entertainment, and personality of a kitten without needing a full-time lap cat. He's playful, thoughtful, conversational, and wonderfully comfortable being himself.
