Carrot is a handsome orange tabby with exceptionally soft fur and a personality to match. He is the kind of kitten who is always looking for his next adventure, whether that means chasing a toy across the room, climbing to the highest perch, or turning an ordinary cardboard box into the most exciting place in the house. Curious and confident, Carrot is usually one of the first to investigate anything new.

When playtime is over, Carrot is just as happy to curl up with his brothers for a long nap. He has grown up surrounded by his littermates and enjoys having another cat to wrestle, groom, and cuddle with throughout the day. He would do best being adopted with one of his brothers or into a home that already has a friendly, playful cat to keep him company.

Carrot is looking for an indoor-only home where he will be loved as part of the family. He must never be declawed. He was born in April 2026 and is fostered in Fort Worth, Texas.

OUR CATS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

All our cats are fostered in Texas but available for transport out of state. Our cats are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our out of state adoption fee is $250 plus transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes age appropriate, vaccinations, registered microchip, testing for FIV and FELV, and a fecal analysis. Cats will be spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age. Cats will also be current on prevention. A health exam will be completed, and a certificate will be issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Note: MNS reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care.
