Hi My name is Rusty and I’m a big orange-and-white sweetheart with a little bit of sass and a whole lot of love! I’ll be honest, when I get scared, I may hiss first and think second—but don’t worry, it passes quickly. Once I know I’m safe, my purr motor kicks into high gear and I happily soak up head pats and chin scratches.

I’m a playful boy who can’t resist anything with feathers. Bring out a feather toy and I’ll be your best friend in no time! Churu treats are another quick way to win my heart.

I’ve grown so much in my foster home and have really come out of my shell. I’ve enjoyed spending time with my littermates and would love a home with another friendly feline companion to be my best buddy. My foster home has a dog that I’ve heard barking and haven’t run away, so with slow and proper introductions, I may do well with a canine friend too.

I’d do best in a home with adults and older kids who understand boundaries and can give me the patience and gentle approach I need to feel comfortable. I’m litter-box trained, full of potential, and ready to charm my way into my new home!
