Gabby - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Fort Collins, Colorado

Gabby is a healthy 12-13 week old kitten that was rescued from an outdoor cat colony in Northern Colorado. Gabby came to us unsocialized and terrified of humans. After 3 weeks with her foster family Gabby is comfortable being picked up and absolutely loves to have her ears and under her chin scratched. She will relax and choose to sit on her foster's lab as long as she is being petted. When we rub her back she arches her back and her tail sticks straight up. We are now able to reach down and pet her and she doesn't get scared and run off. Gabby is still working on being comfortable enough to run up to a person but with time and patience we think she will be a dedicated lap cat, especially with the loud purr she displays when given love. This sweet girl is smart and very playful. She absolutely loves our adult male cat and we would highly suggest that she goes to a home with another cat so that she can have a buddy.
