This crotchety little old man was found eating garbage out of a dumpster. A kind couple brought him inside and contacted our shelter for assistance. He was a bona fide mess when he first came to us. His blood work was all over the place and he had terrible diarrhea.
After days and weeks and months of medication and supplements and trying different diets, he's a changed little guy!

Louie has spent time over the past few months going back-and-forth between the shelter and his rescuers home. It's no surprise that he does much better in a home than at the shelter. We don't know where he came from or what experiences he had prior to coming into our care, but we're pretty sure he doesn't like other cats. Once he is in a home he is very sweet and loving.
