For twelve years, Salmon lived a quiet, steady life with his family. He wasn’t always an indoor cat—he first wandered into their backyard as a tipped-ear community cat, curious and friendly. The children fell in love with him instantly. With gentle patience and plenty of affection, Salmon decided the indoors weren’t so bad after all, and soon he became part of the household. He spent years lounging inside, kneading blankets—and laps—"like bread dough," as one family member fondly recalled.
Even with unfamiliar routines and new faces, Salmon handled it all with the calm resilience of a cat who has known kindness. They shared that he has been living indoors comfortably again, greeting people warmly and enjoying companionship. Now Salmon is looking for his next chapter—a home where he can return to the easy, peaceful life he once knew. He’s a gentle, people-loving senior who thrives on soft beds, warm laps, and quiet affection. He may prefer a calm environment, but he has shown time and again that he can adapt when given patience and understanding. Salmon has lived a life full of transitions, but at heart he is a friendly, devoted cat eager to connect. If you’re hoping for a sweet senior who still has plenty of love to give, Salmon may be waiting just for you.
