Rhea - Domestic Short Hair and Tabby Cat for Adoption in Emerald Isle, North Carolina

Meet Rhea: A Sweet, Gentle Soul Ready to Warm Your Heart

Rhea is a beautiful short-haired tabby who is looking for a peaceful indoor home where she can truly shine.

Rhea is the definition of very sweet and calm. She is a gentle girl who appreciates the quieter things in life, like a cozy blanket and a soft head scratch. Because she is a sensitive soul, she can be a bit shy in new environments and will need a patient adopter who is willing to let her decompress and find her footing at her own pace. Once she knows she is safe, her sweet and loving nature blossoms.

She is incredibly easygoing and gets along well with both other cats and dogs—provided they are willing to respect her space and match her calm energy.

Health Note:

FIV Positive: Rhea is FIV positive (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). While this can sound intimidating at first, it simply means she has a slightly weaker immune system. FIV-positive cats can live completely normal, long, and healthy lives with standard indoor care and regular veterinary checkups. Because it is only transmitted through deep, severe bite wounds, she can safely live alongside other friendly, non-aggressive pets!

We require kittens be adopted in pairs when there is not a playful cat already in the home. Single adoption fee under 6 months is $125 or $175 for a pair.
