If you're looking for a 15lb certified stud to roll with, look no further. This rustic 8-9yr old gentleman is looking for his forever homies. Ladies, gents, cats, dogs… Papa Bear doesn’t care, as long as the vibe is calm and there’s plenty of chillin' involved. This absolute tank just wants to chow down and loaf around during his well-deserved retirement years. After a hard life of on the streets, Papa Bear is mastering the art of zen.

He’s Fiv+ (And It’s No Biggie!). This loverboy is NOT a fighter. Fiv is only transferred through deep-tissue biting or mating. Fiv+ cats who aren’t aggressive can live harmoniously with nonfiv+ cats who aren’t aggressive. And since we took care of those "trouble nuggets" at the vet (snip snip!), he is ready to live in perfect harmony. Plus, majority of his teeth are nonexistent!

Papa Bear has a unique, rugged look from his years outside. Those Glorious Cheeks of his are irresistible! Those prominent jowls are actually testosterone-driven shields meant to protect his neck during street fights. He’s got the battle scars to prove his past, but today? He’s pure mellow mush.

When he lived in a cat colony (that we TNR’d), his caregiver noticed he always let the other cats eat first. As he still does here. What a Gentle Giant! Don't worry, this 15lb spud still gets plenty of snacks.

Papa Bear recently had surgery for entropion on both eyes. Entropion is a painful condition where the eyelids/eyelashes roll inward and scratch/damage the cornea. Ouch! He's feeling better now!

We think he’s absolutely 100% stud certified! Papa Bear is the definition of low-maintenance. He enjoys a quick minute of toy play before immediately returning to his true passion: hardcore lounging. Great with calm cats and dogs. When you reach out, he’ll lift his giant head right into your hand for scritches and will just absolutely melt.
