Surprise! Our last "Ellijay Special Cutie" isn't a Mr. Rascal after all...she’s a Miss Rascal!
Being the true little rascal that she is, she managed to stay hidden in her elderly caregiver’s basement for quite a while. Since she was so elusive, we couldn't be 100% sure of her gender—until we finally got her in the trap and could see for ourselves!
"Is she semi-feral?" you might be wondering. Nope! Just very shy and sensitive. Shy cats like Rascal do best starting out in a small, cozy room with minimal hiding spots. This allows for daily one-on-one socialization to build trust. If they’re left to wander a whole house—or a basement filled with "treasures"—that vital bonding time just can't happen.
We whispered to her this morning: "You’re here for a spay, not a neuter." (Haha) Her face? Pure shock! "They’re going to do WHAT?!"
5 ½ month old Rascal is a tender soul who needs a patient, calm forever home to help her spirit shine bright and bold. She so desperately wants to be a brave lovebug! Spread the word!
