Kickstand - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Elkton, Maryland

Kickstand is a young cat who has a mild case of CH (cerebellar hypoplasia) that causes him to be a little wobbly when he moves around. This is a neurologic condition he was born with, but it won’t get any worse as he ages and doesn’t impede his daily activities at all.
He eats, drinks, and uses a litterbox without any issue, he just gets around with a little extra shimmy in his walk and sometimes he falls over if he gets too excited and uncoordinated. Despite this, he should not have any limitations and things like stairs should not pose a hazard to him as his case is considered mild.

He is a shy boy at first and will need a bit of a patient and understanding adopter to reassure him that he’s in good hands, lots of treats and a small space to start will go a long way with him and soon you’ll see his purring, playful side.

He does ok with other cats but may be fearful of dogs. Older kids who are good with cats would also be ok for him.

Kickstand is fixed, vaccinated, free of parasites, FIV/FeLV negative, and microchipped. His neurologic condition is not contagious and is non-progressive, it’s just how he was born.
