Purracane - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Eatontown, New Jersey

This pretty little princess was found in Holmdel with her littermate and feral mom at the end of September. Purracane is about 3 months old at the end of October.
Purracane is a "spicy" little lady, meaning that she usually hisses and/or swats when she meets new human friends.
This isn't anything personal-it's a fear response because Purracane isn't 100% comfortable with people yet. She's made soooooooooo much progress since coming into the shelter but she's still scared of people, especially new ones.

The quickest way to earn Purracane's trust and love is through her very favorite treats, Churus! She loves Churu "Pop 'N Serve" treats as well as the standard Churu or Delectable Squeeze Up treats. Please take a look at the videos to see Purracane enjoying some snackies!

Purracane’s ideal home would be with patient adults who don’t mind being slow and gentle with her, and giving her lots of her favorite treats, while she settles in.
When you say hi, you might be greeted with a hiss or a swat-again, that’s just fear talking. Eventually, your patience will pay off and you'll have a purring and affectionate little bff!

Once Purracane is relaxed and trusts you, she’s a little purr machine who loves to be petted! She is also loves to play with all her kitty toys.
Purracane would do well in a calm and quiet home, with or without other kitties.
