Maggie - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Eatontown, New Jersey

This pretty little lady was found all by herself in Red Bank at the beginning of September. She was lucky enough to spend a few weeks in a foster home with an MCSPCA volunteer where she was exposed to people for, likely, the first time.
There, she learned how to be petted and how to trust people.

Maggie then came back to the shelter and was quickly adopted but was returned after a few days because she was too shy and timid for what the adopters had been looking for. No harm, no foul! That family adopted another more outgoing kitten and now Maggie is available to find her purrfect match.

Maggie’s ideal home would be with patient adults who don’t mind being slow and gentle with Maggie while she settles in.
When you say hi, you might be greeted with a hiss or a swat-that’s just fear talking.
If you proceed slowly, Maggie softens and shows you her sweet side. Once she trusts you, she’s a little purr machine who loves to be petted! :)
Maggie would do well in a calm and quiet home, with or without other kitties.
