From street survivor to professional lap cat... meet Ozzy Man!

Ozzy made quite an impression when he showed up at one of our volunteers' outdoor colonies this spring. It's not every day you see a cat that looks like a Snowshoe living on the streets!

When Ozzy first came to Saved by Zade for his neuter, he had one priority: food. Squeeze treats? Yes, please. People? He wasn't so sure.

After spending a little more time outside, something changed.

One day he walked right up to our volunteer, climbed into her lap, and decided that maybe humans are actually pretty wonderful.

Now this handsome blue-eyed guy dreams of a home where he can chat with you, soak up pets, and curl up in your lap during TV time. He's about 5 years old, loves food (especially squeeze treats!), and has so much love to give.

Ozzy is FIV+, which simply means he'll need a little extra monitoring. He also recently had surgery to correct entropion in his beautiful blue eyes, and he's seeing the world so much better thanks to the care he's received.

Because of his previous vision issues, Ozzy can sometimes startle if something suddenly appears from his peripheral vision, especially in new or stressful situations. For that reason, he'd do best in a home without young children. He should do well with other cats after a slow introduction, and we haven't had the chance to see how he feels about dogs.

One thing Ozzy would like us to mention... At the vet, he prefers to arrive with his emotional support anxiety medication already on board. We all cope with doctor's appointments in our own way!

Ozzy has come such a long way, and we'd love to see him find the family he deserves.
