Fishy Fanatic is finally ready for his moment.

This handsome guy has mastered the art of looking both deeply soulful and mildly judgmental at the exact same time. Between the permanently crunchy ear and those dramatic eyes, he looks like he's been through at least three divorces and a bar fight, but somehow still came out charming.

Fishy is affectionate, but on his terms. He's not one of those cats that needs to be physically attached to you every second of the day. He prefers a more dignified arrangement where you coexist nearby while occasionally paying tribute in the form of pets and compliments.

He's also extremely communicative. Sometimes it's soft little meows. Sometimes it's louder opinions. Sometimes it's teeth.

Now before anyone panics, Fishy is not aggressive. He's just...mouthy. His foster describes him as somewhere between sassy and slightly rude. Fishy uses tiny bites the way other cats use facial expressions. There's the affectionate little nibble, the "that petting spot is excellent" bite, the "okay I'm done now" bite, and occasionally the completely unnecessary surprise chomp that seems to exist purely for entertainment purposes.

Honestly, he acts like a cat who was raised by mildly intoxicated orange cats.

We haven't fully tested him loose with other cats or dogs yet since he's been recovering, but his ear is looking great and he's officially ready to move on from the medical chapter of his life and into the "being spoiled in a home" chapter.

Fishy isn't a beginner-level cat. He's a cat person cat. The kind of cat where half the appeal is learning his weird little rules and accepting that sometimes love comes with light dental involvement.
