female, small, young
DESCRIPTION
Carlita is a curious and playful kitten. She loves to cuddle with her sisters (Kitty Fairy 54807, Pandy Paws 54809 and Fluffy Flufferton 54808) in her down time. Good with other cats and kids.
So You Got a Kitten... Now What?
Congrats on adopting a tiny tornado of fluff and toe beans! Kittens are cute, chaotic, and not emotionally prepared for roommates - be they cat, dog, or Roomba.
First: Give Them TIME
Even bold kittens need space to adjust. You're new. The house smells weird. The ceiling fan is sus. Some kittens settle in fast, others take days. Patience is key.
Set Up a Safe Room
Start with a single room stocked with food, litter, toys, and hiding spots. This gives them a basecamp to get comfy - and lets other pets sniff under the door without drama.
"But my dog loves cats!"
Awesome. But your dog hasn't met this cat. Skip the face-to-face intros at first - no one likes being presented like a snack. Go slow to build trust, not trauma.
Use a Gate or Playpen
Once your kitten's confident, let pets see each other through a barrier. Watch reactions. Praise chill vibes. Toss treats like confetti. Slow and steady wins the nap pile.
Respect the fluff.
Go slow, and you'll earn a lifelong cuddle buddy with excellent zoomies.
Adoption fee is $150 for kittens and $100 for cats over 1 year old.***To inquire about or to apply to adopt this kitty, please fill out our application. The link will take you directly to our application!***

By adopting this kitty, you help the SbZ organization work on decreasing the overabundance of kittens that end up homeless.
Please Note: SbZ rescue cats do not come from breeders. The description is our best estimate of breed and is not guaranteed.
*SbZ requests that adopted kitties be taken to your private veterinarian to be established right away as moving around can be stressful-even if it's a good stress- and can cause reactions in their immune systems.
*If you have dogs and other kitties, please be sure to follow a slow introduction period so they can learn about each other.
