She was found wandering a neighborhood, and after speaking with community members, it became clear that she had been left behind when her family moved away. She went from house to house, patiently searching for the people she loved-hoping they would be there.

They weren't.

How anyone could leave behind such a gentle soul is hard to understand. And yet, despite it all, Georgina still believes in people. She still leans into affection, still seeks out companionship, and still waits with hope in her golden eyes-eyes that seem to have seen far more than a cat her age ever should.

Georgina gets along well with other cats and would likely fit beautifully into almost any family. She is adaptable, loving, and quietly resilient. Not broken. Not bitter. Just ready to be chosen again.
