This adorable former stray may have started out scared of the world, but he has come so far. When Dusk first arrived, he was overwhelmed by his surroundings and unsure about humans. With patience, kindness, and plenty of yummy treats, this handsome boy has begun to let his guard down and show off the sweet soul. These days, he'll greet his familiar friends with the cutest little chirps, eagerly accept treats, and has been known to give the sweetest little head bunts when he's feeling comfortable. Dusk is still a sensitive soul who needs a little extra time to feel safe, and sudden noises or unfamiliar people still make him nervous. He'll need a patient, experienced adopter who understands that trust is built one little moment at a time. A calm, adult-only home where he can settle in at his own pace, have safe places to hide, and discover that he's finally home would be his dream come true.

Dusk is on the at-risk list due to behavior. He is not thriving in the care center and continues to display distance-increasing behavior when approached for interactions. Due to his stress levels, it is in his best interest to move out of the kennel environment and into a stable home as quickly as possible. He would do best in a home with adopters who are willing to give him plenty of time and space to adjust, and who have experience with helping a fearful cat adjust to strangers.
