Goose is 5 years old and, honestly, he may be one of the sweetest cats you will ever meet. He is incredibly handsome, an absolute snuggle bug, and the kind of cat who makes everyone fall in love with him within minutes.

Goose is a total social butterfly! He absolutely loves people, gets along wonderfully with other animals, and loves being wherever his humans are. He’s basically a cat-dog — affectionate, loyal, playful, and always ready to hang out with his favorite people.

Goose is FIV-positive, but please don’t let that diagnosis scare you away from this amazing boy. FIV does not mean Goose is sick. He is healthy, happy, and enjoying life just like any other cat. Many FIV-positive cats live long, healthy lives, sometimes for many years without developing ANY FIV-related illness. (Cornell Vet School)

FIV is only spread through deep bite wounds, not through simply cuddling, grooming, or sharing a home peacefully. This means friendly, non-aggressive cats like Goose can live very happily with other cats, particularly in a stable indoor home.

He doesn’t need someone to feel sorry for him. He just needs someone willing to give him a chance to fall in love with him. Because we know that the second you meet Goose, you’re going to wonder how you ever lived without him. He is truly special.
