Sawyer - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Concord, North Carolina

Meet Rue and Sawyer!

Rue and Sawyer were found in Charlotte alongside two other kittens. Their finder welcomed all four into her home and took them to the vet before reaching out to North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue. She is continuing to foster them and plans to keep two, while Rue and Sawyer will be looking for families of their own.

With an estimated birthday of September 7, 2026, these little ones are growing in the safety of their foster home. They have been dewormed, are receiving treatment for coccidia, and have a follow-up veterinary appointment scheduled at 6 weeks old.

They will turn 8 weeks old on November 2, 2026, and are expected to be ready for adoption around that date, pending veterinary clearance.

The adoption fee is $150 per kitten and includes deworming, age-appropriate vaccinations up to date at the time of adoption, and spaying or neutering when old enough.

Their finder gave them a safe beginning. Now it’s your turn to be part of their story! Could your home be the one Rue or Sawyer has been waiting for?
