Six tiny kittens. No mama. One kind neighbor who changed their story.

These babies were dropped off along a road in Harmony, NC, with no mama in sight. When a resident stepped outside to check her mail, all six kittens came running up to her, looking for someone to help.

With two dogs of her own, she couldn’t keep all six kittens, but she made sure they weren’t left behind. She reached out for help, and North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue stepped in to find foster homes for these babies.

At roughly 7 weeks old as of October 4, their estimated birthday is August 16, 2026. They now have a safe place to grow and receive the care they need as they prepare for their forever homes. Their beginning was uncertain, but their next chapter can be filled with love.

The adoption fee is $150 per kitten and includes deworming, age-appropriate vaccinations up to date at the time of adoption, and spaying or neutering when old enough.
