Meet Northern!

Northern is a 6-year-old all-black handsome boy with a little black button nose, a giant purr motor, and an impressive talent for making himself right at home. Northern is blind, but you might not realize it at first! He takes on new spaces like a total champ, confidently exploring his surroundings and getting around remarkably well. He may occasionally bump into something he wasn't expecting, but he doesn't let that slow him down one bit.

Northern is a very sweet and confident guy who loves exploring almost as much as he loves people. Start talking to him and he’ll come looking for you, happily rubbing against your legs, headbutting, and leaning into every pet you’re willing to give. He is incredibly friendly and has a way of making himself known, whether that's with a loud purr, a little meow, or a full-body rub against your legs. He'll even climb into your lap when he's feeling extra cuddly.

And then there are the biscuits. Northern is a PROFESSIONAL biscuit maker. This boy is almost constantly making biscuits. Talk to him? Biscuits. Pick him up? Biscuits. Snuggle him? Biscuits. Give him Churu? Biscuits while he reaches his little paws toward the tube. He'll even put his paws up in the air and make the most adorable air biscuits. He is apparently determined to knead his way through every happy moment, and honestly, we love it.

Northern is a big Churu fan, although his blindness makes treat time especially cute. Since he can't quite see where the tube is, he gives the Churu the sweetest little chomps as he tries to find it. Of course, this is usually accompanied by, you guessed it, more biscuits.

Northern is the kind of cat who meets the world with confidence, curiosity, and a whole lot of sweetness. He may navigate life a little differently, but he doesn't seem particularly interested in letting that stop him. Give him a chance to explore, talk to him so he can find you, and prepare yourself for a very sweet boy who will happily purr, headbutt, knead, and rub his way right into your heart.
