Meet Samba!
Meet Samba, a gorgeous 3-year-old Doberman with a giant heart, an even bigger personality, and approximately 73 pounds of pure goofball! This sweet girl is an absolute lovebug who makes friends with everyone she meets and has never met a couch she didn’t immediately decide was her couch.
Samba is what her foster family affectionately calls an “aggressive cuddler.” Her favorite place in the world is as close to her people as physically possible, and she will happily wiggle, scoot, and snuggle her way right into your personal space. She also has a serious love for stuffed animals, which her foster family lovingly calls her “babies.” You can usually find Samba carrying one of her babies around, enjoying a bully stick, heading out for a walk, or letting loose with a good backyard zoomie.
This goofy girl is smart and knows exactly what she wants. She does best with a predictable routine and really blossomed once she settled into her foster home’s schedule. She is now comfortable with her potty training and nighttime routine and especially loves having regular walks and plenty of time with her people. Her ideal family will enjoy keeping her active with multiple walks a day and/or backyard time, followed by some serious couch cuddles.
Samba is crate trained, walks nicely on leash, knows “sit” and “come,” and is very responsive to redirection. She has lived with cats in her foster home and can coexist with them, although she may occasionally be tempted to give chase—luckily, she redirects easily when called. She has also done well meeting older children on walks and tends to warm up quickly to new people.
Goofy, curious, cuddly, and completely obsessed with her stuffed-animal babies, Samba is ready to find her people. If you’re looking for a big, silly Doberman who will happily be your walking buddy, couch companion, and personal stuffed-animal collector, Samba may just be your girl.
