Meet Coal! This adorable little guy is a curious, playful kitten with plenty of energy and a wonderfully goofy personality. He may be shy when something new comes along, but his curiosity usually wins out-and he's often one of the first kittens to come back out and investigate.
Coal loves being with his siblings and would much rather have a playmate than entertain himself alone. He spends his days racing around, climbing, exploring, and having a blast in the three-way tunnel. When all that kitten energy finally runs out, he's happy to curl up for a nap with his siblings.
He enjoys attention and will happily climb onto his people for some affection, although he'll usually choose playtime if given the option! Coal has seen other pets through a screen door but hasn't met them yet, so any introductions should be done slowly and thoughtfully.
One of Coal's most charming features is his wonderfully goofy expression-his eyes make him look just a little confused, and it's absolutely adorable. He is fully litter box trained and ready to find a home where he can keep exploring, playing, and growing into his sweet personality. A home with another playful kitten or young cat would be ideal for this energetic little guy!

Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
