This young mama didn't have the easiest start, but thanks to a kind stranger, she was able to safely raise her kittens and begin her journey toward the loving life she deserves. Now that her babies are growing up and finding homes of their own, it's finally Ma Rainey's turn.

She is incredibly affectionate and loyal, the kind of cat who will follow you from room to room, gently rubbing against your legs until she can settle in by your side. She loves attention, purrs easily, and forms a strong bond with her person. You'll quickly become her human.

Like many former street cats, she can be a little cautious with other animals at first, but she communicates clearly and keeps to herself rather than causing trouble. She could do well as your one-and-only or in a home with a respectful cat or calm dog who gives her space.

Ma Rainey is well-mannered, uses the litter box perfectly, stays off counters, and is fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped. She's ready for a quiet, loving home where she can relax, feel safe, and be cherished the way she always should have been.
