Meet Layla, a sweet, affectionate brown tabby who has spent the last few months being a devoted mom and is now ready for a little more time to herself.

Born in March 2025, Layla came into foster care while pregnant and soon gave birth to four kittens: Link, Danny, Lady Gaga, and Frida. She has been a wonderful mother, caring for her kittens and watching them grow. Now that they're becoming independent, Layla is ready to enjoy the next chapter of her own life.

Layla has a warm, friendly personality and a gentle way of asking for attention. She'll approach her humans, give them a slow blink, and settle down to be petted. She's a lap cat who enjoys cuddling, being brushed, and stretching out comfortably on the floor.

She still has a playful side, too. Toys on strings are a favorite, along with her cardboard couch and scratching posts. When she's ready for some quiet entertainment, Layla loves relaxing in the sunshine and watching the activity outside. Backyard wildlife makes particularly good television, especially when deer stop by.

Layla is friendly with new people and does well with adults, children, and other cats. She's affectionate and playful without having the nonstop energy of a kitten. After doing such a good job raising her family, Layla is ready for some well-earned peace and quiet and a family that will make her the one being cared for.
