Poppy & Blossom - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Cincinnati, Ohio

POPPY: CALICO

Poppy and her sister (Blossom) grew up as outdoor kittens. A kind neighbor watched out for them and when a terrible winter storm hit, she tried to get them inside. She could only find Poppy and reached out to our rescue for help, assuming her sister didnt make it. Miraculously her sister did make it and the two were reunited. With patience and love these two semi-feral girls have become love bugs who enjoy the comfort of a home.

They can still be nervous and shy with new people and things, but they shine once theyre comfortable! They absolutely love getting pets, playing with toys, & watching out the window. Theyve gone from terrified girls to normal playful kittens! They do AMAZING with their fosters animals, a cat and large breed dog! However, they would do best with only cat savvy and calm dogs regardless of size. They would also do best with only older, calm children they still are getting used to being handled and being comfortable in high energy environments.

Their birthday is estimated to be late summer of 2025. Both girls are great with the litter box and great houseguests. They are fully vetted, healthy, and ready for their forever home! They will still need love & patience to adjust, but I promise theyre worth it.

While the most ideal home would be one that they can go to together, a perfect fit with other friendly animals will be considered.
