Nacho — Sweet Orange Tabby Chunker (Ready for Adoption!)
Nacho is officially ready for adoption! His estimated birthday is May 3rd, 2026. He and his two brothers and sister came into rescue as neonates on May 10th after a traumatic start to life. Whatever happened to their mother left several siblings injured, but by the grace of God, all four survived. They came in weighing less than 14 oz — tiny, fragile, and fighting — and every single one of them has thrived.
Nacho in particular is ready for his big debut. He is a beautiful orange tabby kitten with a white chest and the sweetest snuggly personality. He loves soft blankets, his little comfy couch (which will go home with him on adoption day), cat trees by the window, and toys of all kinds — pompoms, foil balls, catnip carrots, and anything he can bat around.
Social Behavior:
Nacho has been raised with foster cats, resident cats, a Saint Bernard, a Maltipoo, and a Pomsky. He does very well with other animals as long as they are nonaggressive and do not chase. He loves playing with other kittens and would do best in a home with another young cat to keep him company.
Personality:
Nacho is affectionate, playful, and a total snuggler. He enjoys cuddling, exploring, and hanging out in cozy spots. He's a little chunker, weighing just over 4 lbs, and he's growing beautifully.
Nacho needs a home with:
- A younger cat or kitten playmate (required)
- Gentle, respectful animals
- Plenty of toys and enrichment
- A family ready to give him love, structure, and continued growth
HART recommends kittens 6 months of age and younger be adopted in pairs.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
