Meet Reese's: A Little Cautious, A Lot of Fun

Reese's has learned something pretty important lately: humans might actually be okay.

This handsome little gray guy didn't always think so. Reeses and his siblings came into foster care at around six weeks old scared and unsure about people. Since then, he has come such a long way. He's learning that people bring good things—food, toys, safety, playtime, and, most importantly, a pretty great life indoors.

Reeses is still the kind of kitten who likes to read the room before joining the party. When someone new comes around, you may initially find him tucked away somewhere doing a little undercover surveillance.

Can they be trusted?
Do they have snacks?

Give him a little time, though, and curiosity wins. Once Reese's realizes everything is okay, out he comes—and that's when you get to meet the playful little goofball his foster family knows. Because when other cats are involved, Mr. Cautious suddenly forgets he was supposed to be shy.

Reese's loves to chase, pounce, wrestle and rumble with his siblings and foster brother, Stitch. He is always ready to join the kitten games and can hold his own during even the most serious rounds of living-room WWE.
He may not be the “crawl onto your chest and demand cuddles," but Reese's has his own way of being close. As he gets comfortable, he'll come out, hang around his people, play nearby and let more of that sweet personality show.

And honestly? There's something extra special about being chosen by a kitten who once thought humans were pretty suspicious.


Reeses comes with a friend requirement!
His feline friendships have been a huge part of helping Reeses become the confident, playful kitten he is today, so he must be adopted with a friend or go to a home that already has a young, playful cat. He would love to be adopted with Stitch or one of his siblings—Skittles, Cotton Candy, or Gummy Bear. Having a buddy gives him someone to wrestle with, chase through the house, nap beside, and remind him that everything is just fine.

Reeses has already gone from a frightened little street kitten to a playful boy who is discovering just how good life can be. Now he's ready for the next chapter: a home of his own, a feline best friend, plenty of toys, and people who will give him the little bit of time he needs to decide they belong to him.
