Click - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Click is living in a foster home! Fill out an adoption application to meet them! We do recommend that all kittens be adopted with another kitten or cat in the home, so that they can continue socialization and learning good habits!

Click is neutered and fully healthy! They are up to date on vaccines. They are still receiving the core kitten vaccine series and will need additional vaccines after adoption to reach full immunization. They are also microchipped!

Click is so friendly and affectionate - he loves to cuddle up next to you (or on you) and spend time with you. He also loves to play! He can entertain himself with simple cat toys that he can chase around and also likes playing with wand toys. He gets along very well with my resident cat even playing together so I think he would be good with other cats as well. Generally pretty comfortable and easy-going, although he prefers not to be locked away by himself for too long, but will be fine if necessary for a while. It has been a delight having him!

Litter Box Trained: Has excellent litter box habits

Unsure with Dogs: Has not been tested with dogs, so their compatibility is unknown. We would recommend a slow introduction with a way to separate the home for each pet.

Cat Social: Has lived with my resident cat who is a 4 y/o male and they get along very well. Click loves to nap near him on the couch or the bed. Sometimes they also play together, mostly taking turns playing with the same toys or parallel play or but sometimes play fighting or chasing each other too.

Likely Kid Friendly: Has shown positive signs around children but may need a gradual introduction to younger family members.

Click's adoption fee is $150, and this kitten can't wait to meet you!

Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/. Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any cat in our program. Once the app is submitted you will receive an email within 48-72 hours.
