Palmetto is a wonderful little guy with a big heart. The moment he sees his people, he comes running for affection and is always happy to settle in for some cuddle time. He has quickly discovered that being an indoor kitten comes with some pretty wonderful perks—and he intends to enjoy every one of them!
When hes not busy soaking up attention, Palmetto is an enthusiastic little entertainer. He loves playing with his toys on his own and enjoys romping around with other cats, too. His absolute favorite is a small plastic ball with holes that he can pick up, carry around, and bat around during his play sessions. Watching him happily parade around with his favorite ball is sure to make you smile!
Palmettos story began outdoors. He was found with several other kittens near an assisted living facility. A kind woman had been regularly feeding a small cat colony on her driveway. She cared about the cats but didnt know how to get them safely trapped for spay/neuter—and she wasn't aware of spay/neuter resources.

His rescuer ensured Palmetto was soon neutered, fully vetted, and welcomed into a foster home to recover. It didn't take him long at all to figure out that indoor life was exactly where he belonged! From the very beginning, he has been seeking out affection, cuddles, playtime, and all the comforts of being a cherished house cat.

Now Palmetto is ready for a forever home where he can continue to blossom into the loving companion he was meant to be.
Palmetto would especially enjoy having another young, friendly cat in his forever home so he has a feline friend to play with and keep him company.
He can do well with children when introductions are handled appropriately. Young children should be taught how to interact gently and respectfully with pets and should always be supervised.
