Heathcliff is a handsome 1.5-year-old buff Domestic Shorthair with a wonderful combination of brains, sweetness, and an affectionate personality. This boy is truly something special!

Heathcliff is very smart and learns quickly—but what may be even more impressive is how quickly he makes friends. He loves people, enjoys the company of other animals, and seems to have never met a stranger. Give him a little attention and you'll soon discover his favorite pastime: snuggling and being petted while he purrs away like a little motor.

Heathcliff also enjoys watching the world go by from a window. Whether he's cuddling with his people or keeping an eye on the neighborhood, hes happiest when he can be part of the action.

Heathcliff's story is a bit unusual. A cat named Alley was lost after the carrier she was traveling in broke, dropping her into the street. While volunteers were searching for Alley, they discovered that Heathcliff had been abandoned nearby. What started as a search for one lost cat led to the rescue of another cat who desperately needed someone to find him.

Now Heathcliff is ready for the happy ending he deserves.
