Cheddar and Cantaloupe - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Calverton, Maryland

What a great choice to check out Cheddar and Cantaloupe’s profile! The boys are smart, affectionate, charming, loving and gentle! At first glance they almost look like twins! But on closer inspection, Cheddar is a lighter colored orange tabby with long white and brown stripes along his sides and an adorable almost white tail tip. Cantaloupe is slightly larger and has a dark orange and light brown coat with cute milk chocolate stripes on his tail. Both boys are quite handsome!!!

Like many cats, Cheddar and Cantaloupe are initially on the shy side and take a couple of days to settle in. But they are chill cats that have fun personalities and are so gentle- they don't mind being picked up or put in their carriers. Both boys love sitting on the very top of their cat towers to window watch and gather the latest nature news. Cheddar and Cantaloupe border on being nosy in the most adorable way- they like checking out what their people are doing and making sure all tasks are completed properly!

The boys, especially Cheddar, like sitting with you while you work on the computer. At night Cheddar likes to knead and cuddle next to you and Cantaloupe snuggles right along your side. And, if you are petting one boy, then make sure your other hand is free to pet the other boy. Neither want to miss out on being adored! The boys are charming and so sweet!

Cheddar and Cantaloupe’s favorite toys include their furry balls, felt mice and spiral toys and they so appreciate their cat towers. They get along seamlessly with other cats and are actually excited to meet other kitties! The boys are good with the resident dog, as well! If you want to smile and laugh and have some great companions, then come and meet Cheddar and Cantaloupe!
