Acini De Blep-y & Tempestina - Domestic Medium Hair Cat for Adoption in Calverton, Maryland

Blep-y (her government name is Acini Di Blep-y) is more of a Pugsley Addams to her sister's Wednesday and was the first member of the Pastina Posse to be rescued due to her silly, good hearted nature. She's eager to make new friends and see if they have any snacks. She's small for her age, but don't let that fool you! Her personality is as big as her appetite! She loves a good belly rub, chasing treats as they skitter across the floor, and she's absolutely unstoppable in her pursuit of wand toys.

We named her Blep-y due to her tongue sticking out a lot when she was younger. Her name is also a play on words for the acini di pepe (little peppercorn) tiny pasta shape.

Tempestina, meaning little storm, is the second member of our Pastina Posse and she's the Wednesday Addams to her sister Blep-y's Pugsley. Tempestina is a skilled huntress and prefers attacking aerial targets (wand toys). Everything she does is with intensity and conviction. She looked after and protected her little sister when Blep-y was sick when they were younger. While Tempestina is more watchful and reserved than her silly sister, she will always open up to you if you get on her good side by offering treats. Her love is hard earned, but twice as rewarding. Her quiet purrs and soft fur are designed for snuggling.

Pastina (aka tiny pasta) is best known for being in the viral Italian Nonna's Penicillin Chicken Soup. Just like how chicken soup is good for the soul, so are these kittens!
