Meet Milena: A Sweet Girl Waiting to Feel Safe

Milena is a beautiful 2-year-old grey and white tabby who is looking for something she has never had enough of: time, patience, and someone willing to let her blossom at her own pace.

Milena came to the rescue after having a litter of kittens. Her babies were fortunate enough to find a place with another rescue, but sadly, there wasn't room for their mama. Now it is Milena's turn to find a family of her own.

Milena is a very shy girl, and the world can still feel like a pretty big place to her. New people and sudden movements are scary right now, so she will need a patient adopter who understands that trust doesn't happen overnight. She may not be the cat who runs up to greet you on day one, but with kindness, consistency, and plenty of time, we're hopeful that her confidence will begin to grow.

One thing that has already helped Milena discover that people can bring good things? Squeeze treats! She may start with a few tentative licks, but once she decides the treat is worth it, she dives right in!

Milena is currently living with other cats and does well having feline companions around her. An older-child home could also be a possibility for her, as long as everyone understands that she needs gentle interactions and plenty of space to feel comfortable.

Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).
