Forget partisan politics—this litter is running on a platform of pure chaos, top-shelf cuddles, and mandatory nap times. Meet our six candidates for Chief Executive Officer of Your Couch:
* Lincoln & Liberty:
Honest to a fault. They will tell you directly (and loudly) that dinner is two minutes late. Unanimously voted Best Tall Ears in Office.
* Kennedy: Suave, charismatic, and impossibly charming. Ask not what your kitten can do for you, but how many treats you can hand over right now.
* Nixon: Completely innocent. He promises he is not a crook, despite the missing hair ties and mysterious midnight counter-raid.
* Hillary: Highly organized, policy-driven, and running a tight ship. She already has a 10-point plan for opening the treat cabinet.
* Liberty: The patriotic wildcard. She keeps the whole cabinet in check and strictly enforces freedom of movement across all high shelves.
Campaign Platform
* Fiscal Policy: Zero taxes on affection, high returns in loud purrs.
* National Security: Vigorous daily patrols against red laser dots, stray socks, and suspicious dust motes.
* Infrastructure: Exhaustive stress-testing of cardboard boxes, couch cushions

Since 2020, SOS has rescued and adopted more than 1,500 stray cats in the Pittsburgh area. Included in our $225 (full vetting is expensive) adoption fee. It will cost you more money to have everything we have already completed for them done. Adopting from us supports S.O.S and our mission to save cats from neglect, abandonment, hoarding or friendly strays stuck living outside.
All of our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, have received Capstar for any flea issues and NEXGUARD COMBO for any parasites, received two FVRCP vaccines as well as their rabies vaccine, are treated for ear mites (if needed), are combo tested for FeLV and FIV(beware large shelters no longer test) and are microchipped which will transfer to you.
SOS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our adoption fee, along with donations, allow us to tend to our rescued cats in the manner in which they deserve: fully vetted and fully cared for. We also allocate funds to continue TNR (trap, neuter, and release) efforts for all of the strays who are too unsocialized and human-adverse for an indoor home. By spaying/neutering, these
cats live a healthier life and no longer contribute to increasing the stray cat population.
When you adopt a cat from SOS, you're doing more than giving a cat a good home. You're also helping those stray cats who cannot be homed. One cats adoption improves multiple cats' lives.
