Peach (13) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Bedford, New Hampshire

Peach is a tiny girl. She's just adorable! She's also one of the most frightened of a group of cats who came into the shelter recently, with far less contact with humans than average.

Peach is terrified to be in close contact with humans at this time. She just does not know it would benefit her to have a human friend. She's estimated to be two years old (we hope she will learn to socialize with people overtime, but she may need a friendly cat to help her do so or she may end up as a spirit cat and best friend to your cat). She's underweight and needs your help getting some weight on her!

Peach seems to enjoy the company of other cats so it might be helpful if a potential adopter had a friendly cat to show her the ropes and teach her people are good! Cats as fearful as her generally struggle with the presence of a dog and since she's one of the most scared, she might do best without any dogs in the home. She is hoping for a quiet home.

She will need to start in one room or a small space while she gets to know you (that way she will hide in comfortable spots you create and not behind the desk). Just until she gets comfortable with you and/or your cat!
