Davey is a sweet but shy older gentleman whom you may have seen on WMUR. When Davey came in, he was severely matted and had an uncanny resemblance to Davey Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Now that his 15 lbs of mats have been removed, he is looking like a whole new dog!

Davey is understandably shy, given his difficult life. Once he is warmed up he is incredibly goofy and sweet. Davey doesn't seem to mind the company of smaller, relaxed dogs. We don't know how he would feel about cats.

Davey is looking for an owner who has patience, love, and a good relationship with their veterinarian.
